Mission

I founded Curated by Jodie because I saw a jewelry industry that was inaccessible to people like me due to excessive price-points.  As a jewelry-lover I was left disappointed while shopping and seeing price-tags with 3-4 digits.  You deserve high-quality jewelry that you love to wear confidently without overspending OR sacrificing your style.

Inspired to Fill the Gap

It feels nice to get a new pair of earrings or dainty ring.  Sounds simple enough, but it really wasn’t. Actually it was really tough.  Living in Manitoba in a city with a population under 100,000, jewelry options were limited.  You could go to:

1. the local big-box store with generic options and no real customer service
2. a popular chain-store targeted at the under 18 crowd 
3. a small local business carrying diamond jewellery, engagement rings and higher-price tags

As a jewelry lover, I wanted to be able to get a new pair of gold hoops or a gorgeous charm necklace that was high quality and affordable but I couldnt find it locally.  I discovered Pika & Bear at a seasonal kiosk in my local mall and over that Christmas season, I picked up at least ten new items for my jewelry box that I loved.  This brand spoke to me and I felt compelled to share it with like-minded jewelry-lovers like you. The rest, as they say, is history.
